WHAT IS A VOLUNTEER?
A volunteer is someone whose aim is to improve the quality of people’s lives beyond his/her family/close circle, overall to do good for the benefit of general society; supporting activities in social organizations or NGOs, without expecting financial return.
Types of Volunteering?
Wish Capture and Granting Volunteer
These volunteers visit the homes or hospitals of children who have applied to the Make-A-Wish Association in order to collect all necessary information on the child and most importantly, to capture their dream.
Marathon Volunteer
All volunteers over the age of 18 may participate in marathons taking place in different cities on different dates in order to collect donations
Expert Volunteer
Volunteers, who are professionals in their own field for example lawyers, marketeers etc are invited to support our association with their know-how, they therefore fall into the "Expert Volunteer" category.
Share My Dream Volunteer
These volunteers, are either high school or university students, their mission is to create awareness amongst the students in their school/university by carrying out projects/events such as seminars as well as fundraising events.
Regular Donor Volunteer

Administrative Volunteer
This volunteer goes to the charity’s office on certain days during the week to provide administrative support. The work in the office includes fun occasions such as wrapping up gifts for Wish Children as well as the feeling of being part of the team.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER?
Be 18 years of age or above.
Be willing to work with children who have life threatening illnesses such as childhood cancer, organ failure and immune system disorders.
Participate in various activities on a regular basis.
Accept Make-A-Wish Turkey’s mission full heartedly.
